General Conduct and Expectations

• Learning First: Stay curious and play fair.
• Respect for All: Treat all participants with respect.
• No Attacks on Infrastructure: Don't attack any CTF infrastructure.
• No Sharing Solutions: Sharing solutions or flags is prohibited.
• No Flag Hoarding: Flag hoarding will lead to disqualification.
• Good-Faith Attempts: Make genuine attempts before seeking help.
• Challenge Help Requests: Use the official ticketing system for help.
• Final Decisions: All decisions by Hack Havoc officials are final.

Flag Submission and Format

• Flag Format: Flags will follow the format CM{[a-zA-Z0-9_,.'"?!@$*:-+ ]+}.
• No Brute Force: Only submit well-thought-out answers.
• Points: Points are awarded based on challenge difficulty.

Code of Conduct on Discord

• For communication join Discord.
• Announcements: All updates will be posted on Discord.
• Respect the Channels: No sharing of flags or solutions publicly.
• Reporting Issues: Report any issues with screenshots.

Violations and Penalties

• Ban for Misconduct: Misconduct will lead to an indefinite ban.
• Disqualification for Soliciting Help: Asking others for flags will lead to disqualification.

CTF Challenge Schedule

• Weekly Challenges: Released every Friday at 12:00 PM EST.
• Write-Ups: Do not post until the CTF has officially ended.

• Non-Transferable: Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
